Motivation. Grit. Drive. Students with these characteristics thrive in traditional settings and are easy to work with. How do we support adult learners and employees who have the intelligence to be successful, but lack the ability to persist through tough times and move forward in a productive way?  In this session, participants will be introduced to basic neuroscience and learn how Executive Functioning impacts learning and success.  Participants will learn about critical strategies that can be taught to adult learners and employees, as well as implementation action plans used by teachers and supervisors.
